Position:
Operator Role:
Operators drive and/or operate heavy equipment such as motor grader, backhoe, front end loader, excavator and other similar motorized equipment in the maintenance, repair, installation, and reconstruction of water, sewer lines, earthmoving and site development along with other related activities. Employee will safely and competently operate machinery equipped with scoops, shovels, buckets or forks to excavate and load materials. Employee will inspect equipment prior to operation to ensure that equipment is functional and within the capabilities of the specific equipment able to safely accomplish the task. Employee will from time to time perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials. Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things. Employee shall assist in the general maintenance of equipment to help keep equipment safe, operational and able to function properly.
