Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heavy Equipment Operator and become a vital part of our construction projects! In this energetic role, you will operate a variety of heavy machinery to facilitate building, excavation, and site development activities. Your expertise will help ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and other machinery to perform site preparation, grading, excavation, and material handling. Manage various trucks including front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and tanker vehicles to transport materials and supplies across construction sites. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance; perform basic maintenance as needed. Assist in the setup and breakdown of construction sites by moving materials like concrete mixers and farm machinery into designated areas. Follow safety protocols diligently while working around construction sites with active machinery and personnel. Collaborate with project managers and team members to coordinate equipment use efficiently and meet project timelines. Maintain accurate logs of equipment operation hours, maintenance activities, and site activities for reporting purposes. Requirements Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and other machinery on construction sites. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues and perform routine maintenance on equipment. Valid commercial driver's license with experience driving heavy-duty vehicles including dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, front loader trucks, or tankers. Familiarity with construction site safety standards and procedures; ability to work safely around active machinery. Knowledge of various construction tools and farm machinery; experience with concrete mixers is a plus. Ability to read technical manuals and operate Caterpillar or similar heavy equipment brands confidently. Physical stamina to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods. Pay:
$26.97 - $32.48 per hour
