Heavy Equipment Operator M L Houck Construction Salem, OR Job Details Full-time $20 - $55 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off Retirement plan Qualifications Front-end loaders Compactors Bulldozers CDL Driver's License Mechanical excavators Loader operation Full Job Description Heavy Equipment Operator needed for contractor performing demolition, earthwork, grading and utility installation including sanitary sewer, storm sewer and waterline. Operators must be experienced in the use of excavators, loaders, dozers, compactors. Must perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking oil, water, and tires. Ideal candidates will be dependable, possess a willingness to learn and positive attitude. Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies, promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned or requested. The selected candidate will need to pass a background check, drug screen and have a valid driver's license; CDL is preferred, but not required. 3 years' experience required.
