401(k) 401(k) matching Bonus based on performance Competitive salary Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance As a Heavy Equipment Operator / Laborer, you will be a versatile team member responsible for operating heavy equipment, driving commercial vehicles, and leading a team in the field. We are a small team that depend on each other to stay safe and get the job done. No slacking - everyone contributes to get the job done. The job can be physically demanding. Maintaining good health is important to job performance.
Skills and Qualifications:
Manual transmission experience a must. Will be tested prior to employment. Able to safely and efficiently operate mini excavators, skid steer, and backhoe Able to trailer equipment to job site and safely pick up loads or dump off fill at quarries Valid CDL Class A Pennsylvania driver's license and medical card Some plumbing experience helpful Minimum high school diploma or GED required Positive attitude, work well with others
Job Requirements/Description:
Good listening skills, follows directions, ask questions for clarifications Positive, \"can do\" and willing to learn attitude a must Professional and drug free in customer facing position Safely and efficiently operate tools and equipment according to instructions or job plan Load and unload dump trucks Perform basic maintenance such as checking fluids and greasing on equipment Inspects equipment and notifies management of repairs needed Tows equipment to job site (with valid CDL) Drives CDL/Non-CDL equipment for job supplies (includes dump trucks and pick ups) Must be of good health and physical condition for manual labor and lifting up to 75 pounds. If you frequently call off sick - do not apply. Must be able to work outdoors in different weather conditions Ability to operate standard hand tools used in construction and excavating environment. Ability to dig and jackhammer in small spaces such as basements and crawlspaces Contributes to team accountabilities by accomplishing other tasks as needed. Understand and follow all company policies and safety regulations Must be reliable to accomplish tasks both independently and in a team environment.
