Job Description
The position is responsible for the safe, productive operation and daily maintenance of mobile equipment in the quarry
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Adhere to and follow all safety rules and regulations per working site ( MSHA/DOT/DEP/OSHA)
- Adhere to and follow all company safety rules and regulations
- Preform daily pre-shift inspections on equipment
- Maintain all fluid levels, grease, and fuel equipment at the end of shift
- Operate excavators, loaders, and/or other heavy equipment to excavate, move, and load material
- Assist with plant repairs and plant maintenance, such as cleaning up in and around the plant and quarry as directed
- Fill in as needed at any position in the quarry
- Turn in maintenance requests daily
- Keep cab of equipment clean and litter free
- Involved with the training of new coworkers in the safe operation of equipment
- Other duties as assigned
