Job Description

The position is responsible for the safe, productive operation and daily maintenance of mobile equipment in the quarry
Duties & Responsibilities :
  • Adhere to and follow all safety rules and regulations per working site ( MSHA/DOT/DEP/OSHA)
  • Adhere to and follow all company safety rules and regulations
  • Preform daily pre-shift inspections on equipment
  • Maintain all fluid levels, grease, and fuel equipment at the end of shift
  • Operate excavators, loaders, and/or other heavy equipment to excavate, move, and load material
  • Assist with plant repairs and plant maintenance, such as cleaning up in and around the plant and quarry as directed
  • Fill in as needed at any position in the quarry
  • Turn in maintenance requests daily
  • Keep cab of equipment clean and litter free
  • Involved with the training of new coworkers in the safe operation of equipment
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Ability to take and follow direction
  • Sound understanding of health and safety codes Ability to work hours when schedule may vary
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
