Job Description

What You'll Be Doing Operate excavators, loaders, and dozers safely and efficiently in heavy highway construction environments Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance to ensure optimal performance Collaborate with site supervisors and crew members to meet project timelines and safety standards Follow site-specific safety protocols and report any hazards or incidents immediately Assist with material movement, grading, and site preparation as directed What Are We Looking For High School Diploma (or equivalency) AND prior relevant job experience CDL license (A or B) with Tanker endorsement is preferred Valid/Clean Driver's License Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Must have the ability to work a varied schedule of day shift, night shift, and weekends due to construction contracts Ability to operate and maintain heavy equipment (excavator and loader experience preferred) Working knowledge of methods, materials and tools used in typical site work, grading, storm/sanitary/water pipe installation, etc Working knowledge of hazards and safety precautions Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level. What We Offer $36.00 per hour base pay. (PA DOL Prevailing wage pay based on work.)
