Job Description

SM Johns & Son Construction in Mount Joy is looking to hire a qualified Excavation Foreman / Operator. This is a working position. Candidates must have the ability to complete Commercial projects. Minimum 3 years experience as a forman, must understand blue prints, operate lasers, understand grades and contours and experience installing underground utilities, water lines, sewer lines, storm water. Must be familiar with site work. Attention to detail, strong leadership skills and a drive to do good work is a requirement for this position. Crew size is 2-3 employees. Must be proficient on the following equipment: Track hoe, back hoe, skid loader, dozer, mini hoe, wheel loader. Salary based on experience. Interviews will be scheduled quickly for those candidates chosen for consideration. Please submit your resume and verifiable experience in order to be considered - include wage requirements. All positions require a valid Driver's License. A CDL license is a plus. No DUI or suspended license within 5 years. Snow removal in the winter months.
