Excavator Operator Reliant Services - 5.0 Philadelphia, PA Job Details Full-time $300 a day 17 hours ago Qualifications Trailer towing Mechanical excavators Trenching and excavation safety procedures Full Job Description Pipe Crew Excavator Operator Reliant Services is seeking a skilled and dependable Excavator Operator to join our underground utility and excavation team. This position plays a key role in supporting our plumbing and excavation operations Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
Pick up excavator and trailer from shop and safely transport to job sites Operate excavator for underground utility and excavation projects Dig trenches to proper depth and grade for sewer, water, and drain installations Assist Lead Plumber during excavation and pipe installation Backfill and properly compact trenches upon completion Safely load equipment and return trailer to shop after each job Maintain excavator maintenance schedule (greasing every 50 hours, fluid checks, routine inspections, etc.) Perform daily equipment inspections and report any issues immediately Follow all safety procedures and utility locating protocols
Requirements:
Experience operating excavators/excavation equipment (required) Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required) Medical Card (or able to obtain one) Ability to tow trailer safely Strong work ethic and team mindset Knowledge of underground utilities and trench safety Ability to perform physical labor when assisting crew
