Job Description
The H&K Group is seeking a reliable Loader Operator for 2nd shift at our construction materials facility. In this role, you will safely operate a front-end loader to move, load, and stockpile aggregates and other materials, support plant and trucking operations, and maintain high safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include equipment inspections, basic preventive maintenance, and housekeeping. Responsibilities Operate front-end loader safely on 2nd shift to move, load, and stockpile construction materials Inspect equipment before and after use; report and document any mechanical issues Follow site plans, load charts, and supervisor directions to support production goals Maintain clean, organized work area and assist with general site housekeeping Communicate clearly with ground crew, drivers, and supervisors via hand signals and radios Adhere to all safety policies, traffic patterns, and PPE requirements at all times Perform basic preventive maintenance including fueling, lubrication, and minor adjustments Monitor material quality and report contamination or unsafe conditions immediately Required Skills Front-end loader operation Heavy equipment safety OSHA and site safety compliance Equipment inspection and documentation Basic preventive maintenance Material handling and stockpiling Two-way radio communication Reading site plans and load directions Traffic and load management on site Recordkeeping and shift handoff reporting
