Position Summary York Building Products is seeking a Haul Truck Operator to safely and efficiently operate various types of equipment in a quarry and production environment. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and comfortable working outdoors in a fast-paced setting. Essential Responsibilities Safely operate heavy equipment, haul trucks and excavators. Perform daily inspections and routine preventive maintenance on equipment. Report equipment issues and maintenance needs promptly. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Work collaboratively with supervisors, coworkers, and customers in a professional manner. Demonstrate initiative, problem-solving skills, and flexibility in daily operations. Assist with additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required:

Ability to safely operate heavy equipment. Strong commitment to workplace safety. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed. Ability to read, understand, and follow safety procedures and operating instructions.

Preferred:

Previous experience operating heavy equipment in a quarry, mining, construction, or similar industrial environment. 1-2 years of experience performing preventive maintenance and lubrication services on mobile equipment. Knowledge of heavy equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Work Environment Work is performed primarily outdoors and may involve exposure to heat, cold, rain, dust, wind, and other environmental conditions. Regular operation of heavy equipment and machinery. Compliance with all York Building Products safety policies and procedures is required. Physical Requirements Ability to walk, stand, sit, bend, stoop, climb, and perform physical labor throughout the workday. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
