Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Regional Manager specializing in Mining and Tunneling operations to lead our regional teams toward operational excellence and sustained growth. In this pivotal role, you will oversee multiple project sites, drive business development initiatives, and ensure the successful execution of complex mining and tunneling projects. Your leadership will foster a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement, empowering teams to deliver exceptional results while maintaining strict compliance with industry standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence large-scale infrastructure projects and contribute to the advancement of sustainable mining practices. Responsibilities Lead and manage regional operations, ensuring project delivery aligns with strategic goals, budgets, and timelines. Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies to expand market share within the mining and tunneling sectors. Oversee profit & loss management, conducting detailed financial analysis to optimize operational performance and profitability. Drive process improvements through lean management principles, operational efficiencies, and innovative project management techniques. Manage cross-functional teams including project managers, engineers, safety personnel, and administrative staff to foster a high-performance culture. Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality assurance protocols across all sites. Utilize Excel data analysis tools for performance tracking, forecasting, and data-driven decision making to enhance operational outcomes. Cultivate strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders through exceptional customer service and strategic communication. Lead strategic planning sessions to identify growth opportunities, mitigate risks, and align regional objectives with corporate vision. Supervise project execution from initiation through completion while managing resources efficiently to meet project milestones. Promote team development through coaching, training programs, and leadership initiatives that enhance skills and engagement. Experience Proven management experience within the mining or tunneling industry with a focus on large-scale operations management. Demonstrated success in profit & loss oversight, financial management, and strategic business planning. Extensive experience in project management including supervising multiple projects simultaneously in complex environments. Strong background in team leadership with a track record of developing high-performing teams through effective managerial communication. Familiarity with Excel data analysis for operational metrics monitoring and decision support processes. Knowledge of safety standards such as OSHA or equivalent industry-specific regulations is essential. Experience implementing lean management practices aimed at process optimization and cost reduction is highly desirable. Pay:
$125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
