Job Description
•IMPORTANT•This job is in the state of SC with travel Monday-Friday lodging is paid for but if this doesn't work with your lifestyle do not apply. About the Role RWR Forestry is seeking skilled and motivated equipment operators specializing in roadside vegetation management and land clearing. We handle year-round work focused on mechanical mulching, limb trimming, and brush cutting along county and state roads. Operators will work with a variety of modern, well-maintained equipment , including: Excavators with mulching and brush attachments Bulldozers Long-arm mowers and tractors Jarraff and other specialized right-of-way clearing equipment Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently for brush cutting, mulching, and clearing operations Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance Follow all roadside and traffic safety protocols when working near live roads Maintain a clean and professional jobsite at all times Communicate with foremen and team members to complete projects on schedule Comply with company policies and DOT safety standards Requirements Proven experience operating excavators, dozers, or long-arm mowing equipment Strong focus on safety and situational awareness around traffic and crew members Reliable transportation and good work ethic Ability to travel within South Carolina for statewide projects Must pass a 90-day probationary period What We Offer Year-round work with consistent hours Newer, high-performance equipment Opportunity for advancement into Foreman positions for qualified candidates Supportive team environment with growth potential Join a company that values skill, safety, and performance.
