Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heavy Wrecker Operator to join our team and lead the safe, efficient recovery and transportation of heavy-duty vehicles and equipment.

In this vital role, you will operate specialized heavy-duty wreckers and a variety of construction and farm machinery to assist with vehicle recoveries, site clearances, and equipment transport. Your expertise will ensure smooth operations on construction sites, roadways, and industrial environments, contributing to safety and productivity. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about heavy equipment operation and construction logistics to make a tangible impact every day. Duties Operate heavy-duty wreckers, including front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and tanker trucks to recover disabled or damaged vehicles and transport heavy equipment safely. Skillfully handle various construction machinery such as bulldozers (dozers), loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and Caterpillar equipment to assist with site preparation, material movement, and demolition tasks. Conduct routine inspections of all equipment before use to ensure safety standards are met; perform basic maintenance or report issues promptly. Assist in the setup of construction sites by moving materials, clearing debris, and positioning machinery as needed. Follow all safety protocols during operations to prevent accidents or injuries; communicate effectively with team members regarding job progress or hazards. Maintain detailed logs of work performed, equipment usage, and recovery operations for accountability and reporting purposes. Support other team members on-site by providing mechanical knowledge and operational expertise during complex recovery or construction tasks. Skills Proven experience operating heavy wreckers is A MUST Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues and perform basic maintenance on heavy machinery. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with
EXPERIENCE
driving heavy-duty vehicles including wreckers and specialized trucks. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and efficiency. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and adhering to safety protocols.
