An Operating Engineer or Heavy Equipment Operator drives and operates heavy equipment used in quarries, construction sites, landfills, refuse and recycling centers, or ports. Heavy Equipment may include, but is not limited to, bulldozers, excavators, paving equipment and pile drivers.

What You'll Do:
Safely operate front-end loaders and related heavy equipment to move raw materials and support production processes. Manage raw material inventory by maintaining proper bin levels and ensuring timely material delivery. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Maintain a clean, organized yard and plant area to promote safety and operational efficiency. Assist with general plant maintenance and upkeep tasks as needed. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies. Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture by upholding the company's core values and safety standards.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience operating a front-end loader or similar heavy equipment, preferably in a concrete, aggregate, or construction environment. Working knowledge of safe equipment operation and basic maintenance procedures. Ability to read and interpret equipment service and repair manuals. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality. Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and vendors. Reliable, punctual, and capable of working in a fast-paced production environment. Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical labor as required.
Physical Demands:
Ability to safely lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Ability to climb, stoop, bend, squat, lift, stretch, push, pull, twist, kneel, stand, walk, sit, and reach. Ability to safely climb up and down stairs and/or ladders. Ability to work primarily outside, with exposure to the extremes of hot or cold weather. EOE
