Today Job Description 5K Excavating is looking for a motivated skilled equipment operator to join their company. This individual will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery to help with excavation, finish grades and other related projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate heavy equipment such as excavator, loaders, skid loader. Preform routine maintenance on equipment and keep machines in good working order. Read and interpret construction plans to insure accurate and precise excavation. Create a safe work environment by following all safety regulations and protocols. Job Requirements Qualifications Experience in operating heavy equipment in a construction or excavating setting Experience in residential construction preferred. Backfill, dig, finish grade Valid drivers license with a clean record Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills Physical strength and stamina to preform the duties of the job Communication skills CDL not required but a plus
