Equipment Operator Zeisler Construction is looking for an experienced Equipment Operator to join our team. We are looking for a dependable, skilled operator with a strong background in heavy equipment and underground utility construction. Responsibilities Safely and efficiently operate excavators and other heavy construction equipment Perform excavation, trenching, grading, backfilling, and other sitework Assist with water and sewer utility construction and installation Read and understand construction plans, specifications, and elevations Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or mechanical issues Work closely with the project superintendent, foreman, and other crew members to complete projects safely and efficiently Follow all company and jobsite safety requirements Perform general construction duties as needed Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience operating heavy equipment Experience with water and sewer utility construction Strong experience operating excavators Experience with trenching, excavation, grading, and underground construction Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications Ability to work independently and as part of a crew Previous foreman or superintendent experience is a plus Valid driver's license Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is an experienced equipment operator who takes pride in their work and can confidently operate an excavator and other heavy equipment. Experience with water and sewer utility construction is highly preferred, and candidates with previous foreman or superintendent experience are encouraged to apply. This is an experienced operator position. A minimum of 5 years of heavy equipment operating experience is required.

Pay:

$22.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
