Responsibilities Operate heavy construction machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, cranes, dump trucks, water trucks, and tanker trucks to perform tasks such as excavation, material handling, grading, and site preparation. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Follow all safety procedures and occupational safety regulations while operating machinery and handling materials. Use hand tools and hydraulics systems to assist with equipment setup, repairs, or adjustments as needed. Transport construction materials and equipment across job sites using commercial trucks like front loader trucks or heavy-duty dump trucks. Assist with concrete mixing operations using concrete mixers and coordinate material delivery for various phases of construction projects. Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and safety checks in accordance with company policies. Qualifications Proven experience operating construction machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, and material handling equipment. Construction site experience with knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience driving trucks including tanker or water trucks is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and performing basic maintenance on construction machinery. Familiarity with hydraulics systems, hand tools, and general construction materials handling techniques. Ability to adhere strictly to safety regulations and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
