NIGHT SHIFT LOADER OPERATOR
position at our Gallatin Quarry, located in Gallatin, TN. The successful candidate for this role will have experience operating mining equipment in an underground mining environment specifically a wheel loader (wa500/wa600) and an uncompromising focus on safety excellence. In addition to operating equipment, this individual may be required to work with the blasting process or on the ground maintaining safety items and keeping the mine well ventilated.JOB DETAILS

Operating a wheel loader (wa500/wa600) in a confined space to muck headings and load haul trucks. Work with explosives and the blasting process to facilitate production. General work around the quarry and other assigned duties may also be required. Perform daily pre-and post- inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies Properly follow all company policies and

Uncompromising focus on safety excellence. At least one-year of proficient experience operating underground mining equipment- such as a face drill, scaler, roof bolter, or loader
- is preferred. Willing to work in an underground mining environment. Willing to work with explosives and the blasting process
- valid TN Explosive Handlers Card or Blasting Permit
- or ability to obtain/renew those permits. Able to operate underground mining equipment with precision and excellence in a confined space. Ability to pick up on new tasks quickly. Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when necessary. Must be able to work underground and outside in all types of weather and tolerate being exposed to loud noises. Self-motivated
