Monday-Friday, with some Saturday requirements About Us We are a growing construction and demolition (C&D) landfill operation focused on safely and efficiently processing materials to support sustainable practices. We're looking for a dependable, safety-focused Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. This position is responsible for operating heavy equipment to feed a grinder and support daily processing operations. Responsibilities Operate material handling equipment, including excavators, Sennabogen material handler, wheel loaders, grinders and other heavy machinery Load and feed a grinder with construction and demolition (C&D) materials Inspect incoming materials and maintain a consistent flow to maximize production efficiency Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance Keep work areas clean and organized Follow all company safety policies and operating procedures Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations Work with a team to get material processed, loaded, and shipped out Qualifications Previous experience operating heavy equipment in recycling, waste, construction, demolition, or similar industries preferred Experience feeding grinders, shredders, or processing equipment is a plus Ability to work safely in a fast-paced outdoor environment Strong attention to detail and situational awareness Ability to work as a part of a team Reliable transportation and strong attendance record Ability to work overtime and every other Saturday as needed What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Consistent full-time schedule Overtime opportunities Health, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off and holidays If you're an experienced equipment operator who takes pride in working safely and keeping production moving, we'd like to hear from you.
