As a Goldhofer Operator, you'll operate specialized hydraulic platform trailers used to move massive loads across industrial, energy, infrastructure, and construction projects. This is a unique opportunity to work with industry-leading equipment that few operators ever get the chance to touch. What You'll Do This role combines equipment operation, problem solving, mechanical aptitude, and teamwork, making it ideal for individuals who enjoy challenging projects and hands-on work. In this role, you will: Operate Goldhofer hydraulic platform trailers and other specialized heavy transport equipment. Assemble, configure, and disassemble trailer configurations based on project requirements. Transport oversized and high-value loads safely and efficiently across a variety of job sites. Conduct daily and monthly inspections to ensure equipment remains operational and compliant. Perform preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems. Work closely with foremen, drivers, rigging crews, and project teams during transport operations. Maintain constant communication throughout transport activities to ensure safe and successful project execution. What You Bring Required:
CDL Class A license Strong commitment to safe equipment operation At least one year of experience operating heavy equipment or similar machinery Strong communication and teamwork skills. Mechanical aptitude with ability to inspect and maintain equipment Flexibility and willingness to travel frequentlyPreferred:
Experience with heavy haul, specialized transportation, or hydraulic platform trailers. Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems. Ability to read and interpret schematics and manufacturer specifications. PURPOSE- Barnhart is built on a strong foundation of serving others.
