Thornton's Tree Service is a reputable provider of professional tree care solutions throughout West Texas. With a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service to our clients. As we continue to grow, we are seeking dedicated individuals to join our crew as Equipment Operators.Job Duties:
The Equipment Operator plays a vital role in supporting our tree crews by performing various tasks, including but not limited to: Driving a support truck and pulling a dumpbed trailer loaded with a mini skid loader between job sites. Operating mini skid loaders and articulating loaders to load and haul logs and debris. Picking up logs and assisting crews with site cleanup. Operating equipment as needed across different jobs, adapting to varying site conditions. Maintaining equipment to ensure operational efficiency. This role requires physical stamina, including bending, stooping, kneeling, and lifting.Working Conditions:
This position entails working in environments that may be loud, dirty, and subject to varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, wet, or dry conditions.Job Details & Qualifications:
Valid Driver's License required; Class B CDL preferred but not required. Must be 21 years of age or older, per insurance requirements. Consistency and punctuality are essential; candidates must demonstrate a reliable attendance record. All candidates will undergo a background check as part of the hiring process. Opportunities for overtime pay at time and a half may be available on a weekly basis. Strong work ethic and ability to collaborate effectively with team members are highly valued. No parole or probation reporting.Benefits:
