Pay:
$27.00/hr
Schedule:
Monday-Saturday, 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM Current certification to operate telehandler and a skid steer OR road broom and
OSHA 10 REQUIRED
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Telehandler/Skid Steer Operator/Road Broom to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery such as telehandlers and skid steers to facilitate various construction activities. Your expertise will help ensure efficient material handling, site safety, and smooth project progression. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction projects while maintaining a strong focus on safety and equipment reliability. Duties Operate telehandler to lift, place, and transport materials at height and across the job site Operate skid steer for grading, digging, loading, debris removal, and material handling Conduct daily pre-operation inspections on all equipment and report defects or maintenance needs Follow site safety plans, load charts, and OSHA regulations at all times Coordinate with foremen, crews, and spotters to position materials where and when needed Maintain clear communication using hand signals and radios in active work zones Assist with general labor tasks, site cleanup, and material staging as needed Keep equipment clean, secured, and properly parked at end of shift Requirements Current certification to operate both a telehandler and a skid steer Current certification to operate road broom Ability to provide certification documentation Proven experience operating both pieces of equipment on a construction or industrial job site Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards; OSHA 10 preferred Ability to read load charts and assess safe lifting capacity Ability to work 11-hour shifts, six days per week, outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, climb, and bend for extended periods Reliable transportation to Thorndale, TX job site Must supply own steel-toe boots Join our team if you're eager to contribute your skills in a lively environment that values safety, efficiency, and craftsmanship.
