Full Job Description Job Title:
Equipment Operator Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Equipment Operator to handle specialized, non-road-bound equipment for vegetation management and utility line clearance projects. This classification is applied only when operating specialized equipment is the employee's primary duty. When the employee resumes general duties, they will return to the appropriate job classification based on their highest verified skill level.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate specialized equipment safely and efficiently with minimal supervision Equipment types may include: Masticators Excavators Specialized attachments Other non-road-bound machinery deemed specialized Perform routine maintenance and inspections of equipment before and after use Follow all safety protocols and site procedures Complete work in accordance with company standards and environmental regulations Maintain clear communication with crew members and supervisors
Qualifications:
Must have a valdi commerial drivers license (CDL) Minimum 12 months of line clearance experience Proven ability to operate heavy and specialized equipment safely and independently Must be able to perform duties without direct supervision This classification is temporary and dependent on equipment operation as the primary function
