Overview We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating various types of heavy machinery on construction sites. The Equipment Operator will be responsible for the operation of equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, and more, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment including excavators, skidsteers and backhoes on construction sites. Perform routine maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety. Collaborate with team members to complete construction projects on time and within specifications. Follow all safety regulations and protocols while operating equipment to minimize risks and hazards. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance logs. Requirements Proven experience in heavy equipment operation with a focus on construction site experience. Strong mechanical knowledge related to the operation and maintenance of heavy machinery. Familiarity with various types of heavy equipment including backhoes, excavators, dozers. Ability to work in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the job site. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
