Job Summary Pronto Staffing is hiring a dependable team member to run overhead bridge cranes in a manufacturing environment. In this role, you will safely move large, heavy materials, steel parts, and concrete pieces across the facility. You will work closely with other team members to keep production running safely and on time. Responsibilities Run overhead bridge cranes to safely move, lift, and stack heavy parts and materials Check crane equipment before your shift to make sure it is safe to use Use proper rigging methods and inspect ropes, chains, and hooks before lifting Work together with spotters, forklift drivers, and supervisors during lifts Follow all safety rules and look out for coworkers and objects in the work area Help load and unload materials to support daily shipping schedules Keep your work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards Requirements 2 or more years of experience operating cranes Knowledge of safe lifting, rigging, and load balancing methods Good hand-eye coordination and depth perception Ability to speak and understand English Crane operator certification (such as NCCCO) is preferred but not required if you have good experience Background check and drug screening may be required Work Environment Standing and walking for long periods during your shift Lifting up to 50 pounds Frequent bending, reaching, and bowing down Working inside an industrial production facility Exposure to dust, loud noise, heat, and changing temperatures Benefits Benefits may be available depending on the assignment.
