Duties Safely operate a wide range of heavy equipment including backhoes, excavators, cranes, and other construction machinery to complete project tasks efficiently. Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met. Assist with site preparation by grading, excavating, loading materials, and moving earth or debris as needed. Follow all safety protocols and construction site regulations to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and team members. Collaborate with project managers and crew members to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines effectively. Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and operational reports for documentation purposes. Requirements Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as backhoes, excavators, cranes, and related machinery. Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with various types of heavy equipment operation in diverse environments. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience driving heavy vehicles like dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks or tanker trucks. Physical stamina to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods.
