In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery such as bulldozers (dozers) and blades to perform grading, excavation, and site preparation tasks. Your expertise will help ensure that construction projects progress smoothly, safely, and efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your skills in heavy equipment operation and maintenance while adhering to strict safety standards. Responsibilities Operate bulldozers (dozers) and blades to perform grading, excavation, backfilling, and site leveling activities in accordance with project specifications. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on construction machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance. Utilize utility locating techniques to identify underground utilities before excavation or grading work begins, preventing damage or accidents. Assist with construction utility work by installing or repairing underground utilities as directed by project supervisors. Follow all federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and team members. Support construction site activities by operating loaders, excavators, water trucks, and backhoes as needed for various tasks. Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate construction grading and site preparation according to project plans. Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as bulldozers (dozers), Blades (Motor grades) in a construction setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic maintenance on construction machinery. Valid commercial driver's license Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations and adherence to safety regulations on job sites. Familiarity with utility locating techniques and underground utility protocols. Construction site experience with a focus on excavation, grading, utility work, and general construction operations. Ability to operate Caterpillar equipment with GPS system or similar brands confidently and safely. Pay:
