EXPERIENCED HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

Beyer Excavation | San Antonio, TX Beyer Excavation is hiring experienced Heavy Equipment Operators for excavation, grading, and site-development projects throughout the San Antonio area. We are looking for professional operators—not beginners. Candidates should be able to safely and efficiently operate equipment while maintaining grade, production, and quality without requiring constant supervision. Equipment Experience Qualified candidates should have experience operating several of the following: Excavators Dozers Motor graders Wheel loaders Skid steers / compact track loaders Backhoes Compaction equipment Experience with GPS machine control is a strong plus. Type of Work Our projects may include: Commercial and residential site development Mass excavation Building pads Fine and rough grading Road and driveway construction Utility excavation Drainage and detention work Land clearing Demolition Rock excavation Ranch and acreage development What We Expect You should be able to: Read stakes, elevations, plans, and grade information Cut and maintain grade accurately Perform rough and finish grading Excavate safely around utilities Work efficiently without sacrificing quality Perform daily equipment inspections Grease and maintain assigned equipment Recognize mechanical problems before they become major failures Keep equipment clean and properly cared for Follow OSHA and company safety procedures Communicate effectively with foremen and supervisors Work as part of a production-focused crew Show up on time, every day, ready to work Requirements 5+ years of verifiable heavy equipment operating experience preferred.

Candidates must have:

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Strong safety record Ability to work outdoors in Texas conditions Ability to work overtime when projects require it Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to pass employment screening as required CDL is a plus but not required for all operator positions. Compensation Competitive hourly pay based on actual operating experience and skill level. Higher compensation is available for operators who can demonstrate strong production capabilities, finish-grade skills, GPS experience, and the ability to operate multiple machines.
