Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Heavy Equipment Operator to join our Construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery on construction sites. The ideal candidate will have experience with a range of equipment and a strong commitment to maintaining safety standards while ensuring efficient operations. Duties Operate heavy machinery, including dozers, skid steers, loaders, excavators, forklifts, and roller/compactor. (John Deere & Komatsu) Experience in TopCon GPS system is not required, but a plus. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and in accordance with company health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met. Follow all safety protocols, while operating machinery in all environments. Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage and any maintenance performed. Willing to travel to surrounding states periodically, Per Diem comes with Travel. Requirements Operate heavy machinery, including dozers, skid steers, loaders, excavators, forklifts, and roller/compactor. (John Deere & Komatsu) A valid driver's license is required. Must be able to communicate proficiently in English. Strong understanding of construction site operations and safety practices. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with the operation of heavy machinery. Attention to detail and commitment to following safety regulations at all times. Ability to adapt to changing work conditions and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
