Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Finish Blade Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery, primarily finish blades, to shape and level land according to project specifications. Your expertise will help ensure smooth, safe, and efficient site development, contributing directly to the successful completion of construction projects. Responsibilities Operate finish blades and other heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, and water trucks to perform grading, excavation, and utility work on construction sites Maintain and inspect equipment regularly to ensure optimal safety and performance, adhering to all federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures Perform construction utility work including utility locating and trenching tasks with precision and attention to detail Follow construction grading plans accurately while maintaining site safety standards at all times Conduct routine maintenance on machinery such as Caterpillar equipment and backhoes to prevent breakdowns and prolong equipment lifespan Collaborate with team members to coordinate heavy equipment operation efficiently across various site phases Adhere strictly to safety regulations, including OSHA standards, during all operations to ensure a safe working environment for everyone Experience Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as finish blades, loaders, excavators, backhoes, and water trucks in a construction setting Strong knowledge of construction site safety regulations and equipment maintenance procedures Hands-on experience with utility locating, excavation, grading, and general construction utility work Familiarity with federal construction safety regulations and safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation Join us if you're ready to bring your expertise in heavy equipment operation into an energetic team dedicated to building quality spaces.
