An equipment operator is responsible for operating heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner. Equipment may include trucks, front end loaders and other heavy civil construction pieces of equipment. The equipment operator must also clean, maintain, and secure all equipment for which he/she is responsible. Experience is preferred but we're looking for individuals of all levels. We provide on-the-job training and each position has opportunity for advancement based on performance. A laborer will be provided on-the-job training which will include assisting in equipment maintenance, learning to operate equipment, cutting edges, sweeping curb lines, marking manholes, staking and stringing, and bringing obstacles to the attention of the Foreman. All work must always be performed in a safe and efficient manner.
