Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery to facilitate construction projects efficiently and safely. Your expertise will help ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and in compliance with all safety regulations. Duties Operate heavy construction machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators to move materials and prepare sites for construction activities Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Follow all safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times during operations Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, and land clearing tasks as directed by project supervisors Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance activities Collaborate with team members to coordinate the safe and efficient flow of construction activities Requirements Proven experience operating construction machinery such as dozers, loaders, excavators, backhoes, and other material handling equipment Knowledge of hydraulics systems, mechanical maintenance, and basic hand tools for troubleshooting and minor repairs Strong understanding of construction site safety regulations and occupational safety standards Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and working in outdoor environments for extended periods Familiarity with construction site procedures including use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols Construction site experience with a focus on equipment safety procedures and maintenance practices is essential Join us in building the future! $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
