Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Grader to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating graders and other heavy equipment, ensuring that surfaces are properly graded for paving and construction projects. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities Operate the grader to create smooth, even surfaces for various construction projects.

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on the grader and other heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to coordinate grading activities with other construction operations. Utilize dozers, loaders, backhoes, and excavators as needed to support grading tasks. Follow safety protocols and regulations while operating heavy machinery on-site. Assist in horizontal drilling and paving operations as required by project specifications. Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any issues to the site supervisor. Skills Proficient in grader operation with a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation. Experience with dozer, loader, backhoe, excavator, and commercial driving is highly desirable. Solid mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintaining equipment. Familiarity with paving techniques and horizontal drilling processes is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the job site. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
