This position is responsible for operating, maintaining, and maneuvering heavy machinery to support construction, excavation, and material-handling projects. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, thrives in fast-paced environments and are committed to maintaining high safety standards, this is the perfect opportunity to showcase your expertise and grow your career in construction. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, dependable, punctual, and available to work full-time Monday through Friday and have valid driver's license. We participate in E-Verify and maintain a drug-free workplace; employment is contingent upon passing a pre-employment drug screening.
Responsibilities:
Operate heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, and backhoes with precision and safety. Excavate, grade, and move earth or materials as required by project plans. Load and unload construction materials, rocks, and debris. Prepare job sites by clearing debris, leveling ground, and compacting soil. Assist with the installation of structures, conduits, or utility lines. Perform pre-operational inspections and routine equipment maintenance. Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or needed repairs promptly. Read and follow project plans, blueprints, and work instructions. Assist and mentor co-workers in proper equipment operation and safety practices. Must follow all safety regulations and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Qualifications:
3 years experience operating heavy equipment in construction, utilities or industrial settings. Strong knowledge of equipment operation, maintenance, and safety protocols. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, site plans, and schematics. Physical stamina and dexterity to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Physically able for heavy lifting and general labor duties as needed to support construction activities.
