Job Description
Now Hiring Experienced Heavy Equipment Operators! We are looking for dependable, experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our construction team. The ideal candidate has 2-3+ years of proven experience operating construction equipment in commercial and/or industrial construction environments and understands how to safely operate equipment around workers, structures, vehicles, and other machinery. We are looking for operators who know their equipment, take safety seriously, show up ready to work, and can be trusted to perform their job without constant supervision. This is an experienced position. Proven hands-on equipment operating experience is required. What We're Looking For Minimum 2-3 years of proven heavy equipment operating experience Commercial and/or industrial construction experience Valid driver's license Reliable transportation Strong attendance and dependable work history Ability to work Monday-Friday Willingness to work overtime as needed Proven ability to safely operate construction equipment Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members Strong awareness of surroundings and job-site hazards Ability to work safely around other employees and equipment Ability to perform daily equipment inspections Ability to identify and report equipment problems Must be physically capable of performing construction-related duties Must be able to demonstrate actual equipment operating experience Equipment Experience Applicants should list the equipment they have proven hands-on experience operating .

Excavators Skid steers Track loaders Wheel loaders Dozers Backhoes Forklifts Telehandlers Scissor lifts Boom lifts Other construction equipment Only list equipment you have actually operated. Heavy Equipment Operator Responsibilities Responsibilities may include: Safely operating assigned construction equipment Performing daily pre-operation equipment inspections Checking equipment for mechanical or safety issues Loading, digging, grading, moving, spreading, and placing materials Operating equipment around workers and other machinery Working safely around buildings, structures, utilities, and other job-site hazards Following project plans, grades, layouts, and supervisor instructions Communicating with ground personnel and other operators Working with spotters when required Maintaining awareness of changing job-site conditions Reporting equipment damage or mechanical issues Performing basic operator maintenance when required Keeping equipment clean and properly maintained Following all company and job-site safety requirements Assisting with general construction duties when equipment operation is not required Performing additional duties as assigned Dependability Is Important We need operators who can be counted on.The ideal candidate:
