Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dozer Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating Dozers and various other types of heavy machinery and a strong understanding of construction site operations. GPS experience is preferred. This role is essential for ensuring the safe and efficient completion of projects, contributing to the overall success of our operations. Responsibilities Operate primarily Dozers and experience operating other heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and skid-steers on construction sites. Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Transport materials using dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and front loader trucks as needed. Collaborate with team members to execute project plans effectively and efficiently. Be a leader following safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Assist in the setup and breakdown of construction sites as required. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities. Skills Proven experience in Dozer operation. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain equipment effectively. Familiarity with Caterpillar machinery, including GPS, and other industry-standard equipment is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and supervisors. A commitment to continuous learning and improvement in equipment operation techniques.
