Job Overview Looking for an experienced heavy equipment operator for dozers, loaders, excavators, and skid steers. Responsibilities Operate heavy machinery and other construction equipment with precision and safety Perform site preparation activities like grading, excavation, loading/unloading materials, and moving earth or debris efficiently Collaborate with project managers and crew members to execute tasks according to project specifications and timelines Maintain accurate logs and documentation of work Follow all safety procedures and regulations to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and others Requirements Minimum 2+ years of experience operating heavy construction equipment preferred Valid driver's license with clean driving record Familiarity with construction site operations and safety standards Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to follow detailed instructions, including reading site plans, accurately Must have personal vehicle/reliable transportation directly to and from job site each day; typically somewhere between Woodbridge and Richmond VA Must be able to read grades OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 safety training certification a plus Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
