We operate in the DC metro area.
Essential functions:
  • Perform rough grading to prepare surfaces according to project specifications and site plans.
  • Accurately follow grade stakes, elevations, and instructions for proper material placement and grading.
  • Perform daily pre
  • and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure proper functionality and safety.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and promptly report any mechanical issues or needed repairs.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations at all times.
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings to ensure the safety of crew members, pedestrians, and other equipment operators.
  • Assist with general labor tasks on the jobsite when equipment is not in use.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, crew members, and other operators to coordinate work activities.
  • Follow direction from supervisors or superintendents and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Keep equipment clean and in good working condition.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with the crew team and supervisors.
  • Must have reliable transportation to get to the jobsite.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience running a loader in a construction site.
