Job Description

Heavy Equipment Operator | McGill Environmental Systems | Waverly, VA | $26/hr
Schedule:
6:00 AM-2:30 PM or 2:30 PM-11:00 PM, Monday-Friday, rotating with occasional weekends McGill Environmental Systems is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator to help turn organic waste into high-quality compost, mulch, and soil products. This is not a forklift-only role. We need someone with real experience running heavy machinery. What You'll Do Safely operate Liebherr L566 and Hyundai HL655 front-end loaders, Volvo EC200E excavators, Bobcat skid steers, backhoes, grinders, and screening equipment. Load, move, blend, and process organic materials, and perform screening operations to meet production specs. Must Have Experience operating front-end loaders, excavators, skid steers, backhoes, or similar heavy equipment Strong safety mindset and attention to detail Ability to work outdoors in a fast-paced production environment
