Job Description

This position requires overnight travel. This is NOT a local or home daily position. You will be away from home Monday-Friday. Weekends at home guaranteed. Chesapeake Geosystems, based in Baltimore, MD, is seeking reliable heavy equipment operators, pipelayers and drill hands to join our travel team. You will work on tasks related to geothermal installations, including excavation, drilling, and pipelaying
Requirements:
Verifiable experience in heavy equipment operating, such as loaders, excavators, and bulldozers Prior construction or pipelaying experience is a plus Willingness to travel weekdays (overnight) Must have reliable transportation Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Good communication and problem-solving skills A positive attitude and good work ethic Attention to safety and ability to follow instructions
Physical Demand:
Outdoor work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, dampness and humidity Ability to lift, carry and move up to 80 lbs. of heavy equipment Frequent physical activity, including reaching, standing, stooping, kneeling climbing
