Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating heavy machinery and a strong understanding of construction site operations. As an Excavator Operator, you will play a crucial role in various construction projects, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Duties Operate excavators and other heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, and graders on construction sites. Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal functionality. Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to execute project plans effectively. Execute horizontal drilling and paving tasks as required by project specifications. Safely transport materials using dump trucks and water trucks when necessary. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Follow all safety protocols and regulations to minimize risks on the job site. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation. Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license. Proficiency in operating excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and other construction machinery. Familiarity with construction site practices and safety standards. Experience with Caterpillar machinery is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to operate tanker trucks for transporting materials as needed. Knowledge of horizontal drilling techniques is a plus.
