Full Job Description Responsibilities:
We are looking for a FT energetic dirt mover who is proficient with the following equipment: full-sized and mini-excavators, tracksteer, front loader, roller, backhoe, water truck and bulldozer. Road grader/blade experience is a plus! Must be able to read civil and structural engineering plans and have knowledge of sewer tapping, man-hole installation, and pipe laying. Prior experience in water mains, including laying C900 and installing ductile water mains required. Must be able to perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them safe and operational.Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-years operating heavy equipment
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
- Willing to work in all types of weather
- Able to regularly lift 75 pounds
- A valid driver's license with 1 or less infraction in the past 5 years. Strong preference will be given to those with a CDLs
- Ability to pass a background check
- Must be flexible and able to pivot quickly as the work demands
- A sense of humor would be greatly appreciated
