Job Description

Heavy Equipment Operator DCX Earthworks is seeking an experienced, dependable Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. This position will primarily focus on dirt work and operating heavy equipment at various job sites. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, operates equipment safely and efficiently, and is willing to travel to job sites throughout Washington, Idaho, and Montana. Responsibilities Operate excavators, loaders, skid steers, dozers, and other heavy equipment Perform excavation, grading, leveling, trenching, and dirt moving Assist with road, driveway, ditch, and pad construction Perform general dirt work and site preparation Follow job-site safety procedures and company standards Conduct daily equipment inspections Perform basic equipment maintenance and report mechanical issues Work effectively both independently and as part of a crew Maintain a clean and organized work area Qualifications Previous heavy equipment operating experience required Experience with dirt work, excavation, and grading preferred Additional construction experience and knowledge is a plus Strong understanding of safe equipment operation Reliable, dependable, and punctual Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license Reliable transportation required Must be willing and able to travel to potential job sites throughout Washington, Idaho, and Montana What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who knows how to operate heavy equipment safely, understands dirt work and construction, and takes pride in doing the job right.
