S&R Towing provides 24/7 towing, recovery, and roadside assistance for everything from passenger vehicles and roadside emergencies to semis, buses, heavy equipment, and complex recoveries. S&R Towing is seeking experienced Heavy-Duty Towing and Recovery Operators with a valid Class A CDL to join our team in Cameron, WI. In this position, you will respond to towing, recovery, accident, breakdown, and roadside service calls involving passenger vehicles, commercial trucks, semis, buses, and heavy equipment. This position is ideal for an experienced operator who prioritizes safety, takes pride in their equipment, and can provide professional service during stressful and time-sensitive situations. Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License. Must be at least 21 years old, consistent with the driving and insurance requirements of the position. Previous professional towing and recovery experience. Acceptable driving record that meets company and insurance requirements. Ability to meet applicable DOT, FMCSA, company, and insurance requirements. Strong working knowledge of towing and recovery equipment, vehicle securement, weight considerations, and safe operating techniques. Ability to perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and equipment inspections. Strong situational awareness and commitment to roadside, traffic, equipment, and personal safety. Ability to evaluate changing conditions and make safe, practical decisions during towing and recovery operations. Clear verbal and written communication skills. Professional customer-service skills and the ability to remain calm during stressful situations. Ability to accurately complete electronic service records, photographs, inspection documents, and other required paperwork. Ability to perform the physical duties of the position, including climbing, bending, reaching, and handling chains, straps, controls, and other towing and recovery equipment. Ability to work outdoors and alongside active roadways in varying traffic, terrain, and weather conditions. Dependable attendance and availability to work an agreed-upon schedule that supports a 24/7 operation.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience operating heavy-duty wreckers, rotators, carriers, or other specialized towing and recovery equipment. Experience responding to commercial vehicle accidents, complex recoveries, police calls, or emergency scenes. Industry-recognized towing, recovery, safety, or traffic-incident-management training or certification. Familiarity with Wisconsin and surrounding service areas.
