As a division of CJS Landscape, we take pride in delivering dependable, safety-first service to hospitals, retail centers, dealerships, and other high-priority sites. Our team operates with precision, professionalism, and pride — ensuring our clients stay open and safe through every storm. Position Summary Whiteout Winter Services is seeking experienced Equipment Operators for snow and ice control operations. Operators play a critical role in ensuring properties are cleared efficiently, safely, and to Whiteout's high-quality standards during winter weather events.
This is a seasonal, on-call position that runs from approximately November through April, with work occurring during snow and ice events — including nights, weekends, and holidays when needed. Key Responsibilities Operate loaders, skid steers, salt trucks or similar heavy equipment for snow plowing and stacking operations. Work efficiently to meet site deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and safety. Coordinate with dispatch and site supervisors for assignments, material needs, and site completion. Conduct pre- and post-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately. Ensure all work meets Whiteout's service standards and client expectations. Maintain a clean, professional appearance of both equipment and work areas. Qualifications Prior experience In Snow operations, salting / operating loaders, skid steers, or similar heavy equipment required (snow experience preferred). Strong understanding of snow operations, plow systems, and site safety protocols. Ability to work long or overnight shifts during winter weather events. 12plus hours shifts on occasion Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and commitment to professionalism. Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience and equipment type.
