Heavy Equipment Operator - Dozer/Excavator

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Heavy Equipment Operators for a project in the Madison, Wisconsin area!

PAY:

$32-$38/hr (based on experience)

HOURS:

50+ hours/week (4x12s + 8 hours on Friday = 56 total)

Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to support excavation and grading work for trail construction projects throughout the Madison area. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating dozers and/or excavators, along with a strong understanding of site preparation, grading, and construction safety practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate heavy equipment (dozers and excavators) safely and efficiently Perform excavation and grading for trail construction projects Read and interpret grade stakes, site plans, and project specifications Conduct routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance Collaborate with ground crews to ensure accurate and timely project completion Follow all safety guidelines and job site procedures at all times

Requirements:

Proven experience operating dozers and/or excavators Strong ability to perform precise grading and excavation work Knowledge of construction site safety practices Reliable transportation and strong work ethic Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, crouch, twist, and work at heights for extended periods Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted Proper use of PPE is
