Job Description

About the Role We are seeking skilled Winter Maintenance Equipment Operators to join our team for the upcoming season. You will play a critical role in ensuring site safety and accessibility by operating heavy machinery to clear snow and ice, directly impacting the operational continuity of our commercial properties. Responsibilities Execute snow plowing and ice mitigation strategies across commercial parking lots based on real-time dispatch directives. Operate heavy equipment including skid steers, wheel loaders, and salt trucks with a focus on efficiency and site safety. Perform daily pre- and post-event equipment inspections to ensure optimal performance and report maintenance needs immediately. Maintain accurate fuel logs and ensure equipment cabs remain organized and free of debris to uphold professional standards. Communicate effectively with field foremen regarding site conditions, fuel status, and any safety-related incidents. Perform manual snow removal or salting tasks as needed to ensure comprehensive coverage of assigned areas. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in commercial snow removal or heavy equipment operation. Proven ability to maintain a clean and legal driving record. Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor in winter conditions. Commitment to attending all mandatory pre-job safety briefings and training sessions. Preferred Skills Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) for specialized equipment operation. Technical proficiency in operating skid steers and wheel loaders. Strong situational awareness and communication skills for fast-paced winter environments.
