Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heavy Equipment Operator and become a vital part of construction projects that shape communities! In this energetic role, you will operate a variety of heavy machinery to facilitate excavation, material handling, and site development. Your expertise will ensure that projects progress smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Responsibilities Operate heavy construction equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, cranes, and dump trucks to perform earthmoving, grading, lifting, and material transport tasks Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Follow all equipment safety procedures and occupational safety regulations to maintain a secure work environment Handle materials efficiently using material handling equipment like front loaders and roll-off trucks Assist with site preparation activities including site clearing, leveling, and excavation in accordance with project specifications Use hand tools and construction machinery for minor repairs or adjustments as needed Adhere to all safety protocols including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times Requirements Proven construction site experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, cranes, and dump trucks Valid commercial driver's license with experience in commercial truck driving and tanker or water truck operation preferred Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting Familiarity with hydraulics systems and the operation of material handling equipment Ability to follow detailed safety procedures and occupational safety regulations diligently Experience with construction experience including concrete mixers, farm machinery, and tanker trucks is advantageous Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment Embark on a career where your skills drive progress!
