Our Wetzel County Landfill located in New Martinsville, WV is currently searching for a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team!

What You Will Do:
Safely operate the facilities Wheel Loader and Drum Feeder Enforce safety procedures on the tipping floor Assist with Direct Drop Off procedures and customers as needed Maintain landscaping onsite including, but not limited to, mowing, weed-whacking, mulching Assist with onsite operations as needed when instructed by supervisor Keep the onsite roads/surrounding area litter free Other duties as assigned
You Have/You Are:
At least 18 years of age A valid Driver's License At least 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment A comfort level working in all-weather outdoors and ability to work indoors The ability to work every other Saturday (required) and overtime Ability to read, write and speak English fluently Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Must be organized and motivated to succeed with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
