- Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to support construction, site development, utility, and earthwork projects. This role involves operating heavy machinery safely and efficiently while maintaining productivity and quality standards on active job sites.
- Responsibilities
- + Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, skid steers, and rollers.
+ Perform excavation, grading, trenching, backfilling, and material handling tasks.
+ Read site plans, grade stakes, and project specifications as needed.
+ Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns.
+ Work safely around utilities, equipment, and construction crews.
+ Follow all company and site safety requirements.
+ Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
+ Maintain reliable attendance and support project goals.
- Qualifications
- + 2+ years of heavy equipment operating experience preferred. + Experience operating multiple types of construction equipment. + Knowledge of excavation, grading, and site preparation activities. + Strong safety awareness and commitment to safe work practices. + Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and job site conditions. + Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred.
- Work Environment
- Work is performed on active outdoor construction sites with varying terrain and weather conditions. Overtime may be required based on project needs.

- This is a Permanent position based out of Parkersburg, WV.
- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $58000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. 40/day per diem lodging covered
